** We are in the most need of Rink Finance **
There are many different areas of the tournament that require volunteer assistance. If there is an aspect of the tournament that you would like to volunteer, please contact the corresponding Director.
Announcers: From way up high or at rink level, the announcer makes the games fun. They are responsible for playing music and announcements during whistle breaks and intermissions. They are also responsible for informing the crowd of players in the penalty box and who scored the goals.
Awards: This is a very important part of the tournament, as these volunteers assist the Awards Director with deciding who wins the various awards that are presented to the players. Jobs included in this area are marking player stats, plus /minus and deciding game mvps.
Rink Finance: This volunteer position includes calculating gate receipts, and ensuring the cash statements are accurate at the end of the day. As well, you over-see the Ticket Sellers and program sellers providing them with a float and shift cash outs.
Media: Media volunteers assist with updating social media sites throughout the game. With one of the best spots in the arena, announcements of goals and penalties are reported. This position is an important part of the tournament, as it provides updates for player’s families who are unable to attend the event.
Off-Ice: Work off-ice includes important positions like time keeping, score keeping, and goal judges. Although goal judging is not always exciting, it keeps you close to the game.
If you encounter any issues with the form in which you are unable to submit one, please email your resume to firstname.lastname@example.org and included the volunteer position you are interested in.
